2:00pm to 3:30pm at New Era College, Kajang. This year's theme

& Teachers Award for Year 2006
The event was held on
16-November-2007 at Sunway Hotel, USJ, Selangor. For Year 2006,
Smart Reader Kids (Sungai Chua, Kajang)
was bestowed with Gold Award for 2 consecutive
years. Moreover, 2 teachers from Smart
Reader Kids (Sungai Chua, Kajang) who are teacher Tai
Yee Hong and teacher Suguna Devi received the Teachers Award.

Excursion 2007
#1, Beryl's
Chocolate Wonderland
It was held on 19 April 2007. A big and
comfortable air-conditioned bus was chartered to ferry the kids.
Beryl's Chocolate Wonderland is located in Sri Kembangan,
Selangor and is where premium quality chocolate and fine
confectionery delicacies for discerning chocolate lovers are
made.
The tour commenced with a short video
presentation on Beryl's and the history of chocolate followed by
a guided tour to the factory where the kids had first hand view
how chocolate is made in a modern environment, right from the
initial stage till it is packaged and ready to be enjoyed.
The tour ended with each kid was
presented with a goodie bag, complementary from Beryl's
Chocolate & Confectionery Sdn Bhd. The kids enjoyed the trip and
return home with chocolate gifts to share with family members.

6th Annual Concert & Graduation 2006
Smart Reader Kids (Sungai Chua, Kajang)'s 6th Annual
Concert & Graduation 2006 was held on Sunday, 19-November-2006,
from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM at Auditorium, New Era College, Kajang.
This year's annual concert theme is "Let's Celebrate Holidays".
The event consist of 2 parts that were performances by the
students and graduation scroll presentation, presented by SRKids
Sg Chua Principal, Pn. Zeha. There were 8 entertaining
performances such as dances, choir and rhymes recital; presented
by the 4 - 6 years old students of SRKids Sg Chua.

Excursion 2006, Aquaria Underwater World, KLCC
Smart Reader
Kids (Sungai Chua, Kajang) just recently held its
annual excursion (field trip) to Aquaria KLCC (Kuala Lumpur
Convention Center) on 27-April-2006. About 60 students
participated in the excursion together with the teachers who
traveled in a comfy chartered bus.
Aquaria KLCC is conceptualized & built based on the 'Journey' of
water from land to sea. Embark on a journey from misty mountains
down majestic rivers, through lush rainforests and waterlogged
mangroves. Dive deeper to navigate through colorful coral reefs
and dive head on into the ominous deep blue sea.
Upon entering the aquarium, we were greeted by a stunning blue
water exhibit and colorful gallery that enables us to travel
back in time to discover the evolution of fish. Then we
experienced a ‘face-to-face’ encounter with some of the most
unusual, unique and enchanting marine animals such as sea horse,
frog fish, eels and other enchanting strange life forms that
exist in the depths of the ocean.
The climax of the ‘Journey’ is an Underwater Tunnel, traveling
on a moving walkway inside the 90m acrylic tunnel, a view only
previously accessible to divers venturing into the depths of the
brilliant ocean. We were impressed by trained divers and
aquarists hand-feeding the fish, including rays and large
sharks.
The final stopover was Aqua Theatre that views the spectacular
ocean reef and its inhabitants through a large acrylic window.
We witnessed the fish feedings as well as death-defying diving
sessions with the sharks! The students spent about 1˝ hours
enjoying the tour at Aquaria KLCC.

Smart Reader Kids™

has been awarded
Bronze Award for the annual
Smart Reader Kids
Franchisee Award 2004/2005
that was held at Park Royal Hotel, Kuala Lumpur on
11-August-2005. The Principal, Pn. Zeha received the award and
certificate from Dr KH Wang, the Group Executive Director of
Smart Reader Group.
A special present has
also been presented to Smart Reader Kids centers that have been
operating for 5 years and above including
Smart Reader Kids™
(Sungai Chua, Kajang).
Dedicated Teacher
Award has also been presented during the function. Two dedicated
teachers from
Smart Reader Kids™
(Sungai Chua, Kajang)
who are Ms. Suguna
and Miss Tai Yee Hong received certificate of appreciation from
Dr K.H. Wang.

Smart
Reader Kids® Family Day 2004
It was
successfully held at The Mines Wonderland theme park at Sri
Kembangan, Selangor. The Family Day was attended by thousands of Smart
Reader Kids (SRK) family members of various SRK centers in Klang Valley
including Smart Reader Kids® (Sg. Chua, Kajang).
The SRK Family Day 2004 was officiated by our CEO. It was a fun-filled
Family Day and was started as early as 4:00pm where they enjoyed
unlimited fun rides such as water taxi, tram, train, snow-house,
terra-cotta warriors exhibition etceteras. Night live performances by
the Smart Reader Kids were also held such as Percussion Band, and Poetry
Recitals & Songs as well as Traditional Dance by the guest dancers.
The Family Day night was also fascinated by the Musical Fountain Show.
The Family Day ended at 11:00pm.

Excursion
2002 for Smart Reader Kids™ (Sg. Chua, Kajang)
It
was held on 24 April 2002. A big and comfortable air-conditioned bus was
chartered to ferry the kids. The first stopover was King’s Palace (Istana Negara)
in Kuala Lumpur where the kids posed in front of the palace entrance and
horse-ridden-guard for a group photo. The kids presence unexpectedly had
attracted a group of tourists from China & Korea who some of them took
photos with the kids.
From the palace they proceeded to KL Bird Park,
the world's
largest covered bird park and the largest walk-in
free flight aviary in the world! The kids enjoyed the 1˝ educational
tour under the guidance of Ms. “Sally”, the park ranger. The kids were
introduced to variety of bird species such as hornbill, peacock, parrot, rare
and endangered birds i.e. eagle, flightless birds i.e. emus; ostrich and
cassowary. The peak event of the tour was the Bird Show where the kids were
entertained by several amazing acts by the trained parrots.
The kids adjourned to the Lakes Garden
for an under-the-tree lunch picnic. The kids had a long cool nap in the bus on
their way back.

It was held at Smart Reader Kids™ (Sg.
Chua, Kajang) on 23 April 2002 after the 1st Term Assessment was over. Most
parents were happy and satisfied with their child’s performance and progress
improvement.

Kids “Into Their World” Exhibition.
Smart Reader Kids™
had participated in the exhibition that was held in Putra World Trade Center (PWTC)
in Kuala Lumpur from 5 to 7 April 2002. We received overwhelming response from
the visitors and parents. Thanks to our dedicated teachers who had spent their
weekend evening manning the Smart Reader Kids™ booth.

Xmas
& Hari Raya Aidil Fitri Potluck Gathering
It was held
at Smart Reader Kids™ (Sg. Chua, Kajang) on Wednesday, 23 January 2002. A
casual potluck gathering among the kids in conjunction with the celebration of
Xmas and Hari Raya Aidil Fitri was held. The kids who dress in modern and
traditional clothes brought variety of cookies and foods and enjoy it among
themselves. The event ended with each kid was given a packet of ang pow.
