"When I first started looking for a kindergarten, it took me and my sister-in-law many hours and days to look for a suitable one for my daughter, Sylvia, who has at the age of 3 years plus at that time and her daughter, Xiao Ying, who was then 6 years old. My intention was for her to mix around with other kids as she was quite a lonely child, well being the only child in the family!

We actually went round the whole of Kajang area and finally when we just happened to give up looking, we came upon this particular school right opposite of Hugo Sg. Chua.... my sister-in-law took the initiative to find out more about this school. The next day, she met up with the principal of Smart Reader Kids Sg. Chua, Pn. Zeha and spent some time with her as well as did an observation on how the teachers taught the students.

When Sylvia started schooling in Smart Reader Kids Sg. Chua in June 2001, she was very prone to getting sick as her immune system was not strong enough and she was always on  sick leave. We, as her parents were very worried that she may not be able to cope with her studies but thanks to all her teachers and friends in Smart Reader Kids Sg. Chua, they gave her all the support and help that she needs when she was back in school after a very long sick leave she took in early year 2002.

I would say sending Sylvia to Smart Reader Kids Sg. Chua was a good decision made. I find that the programs that Smart Reader Kids Sg. Chua have are arranged with care to suite the children at different ages. The teaching of their lessons were also taken into account with the different age of children in class. This prompted me to enroll Sylvia into Smart Reader English Tutorial class several months later which are held every Saturday. We noticed that she has shown good progress in her reading from various kind of books and able to pick-up and understand stories from other sources e.g. through watching television programs.

The first time we attended her first assessment with the teachers on her progress, we realized that all the teachers were actually paid very close attention to each individual student. They will also ensure that the students can really read and pronounce correctly and properly at the early stage. We were also given a first look at how the teachers conduct their classes and all facilities available for their programs.

Lastly, I would like to thank all Smart Reader Kids Sg. Chua teachers for their love and patience in teaching, their dedication of time spent with each student in making sure that they understand their subjects well and the fun that they maintained where Sylvia always look forward to going to school every morning!"
