Delegates Visited Smart Reader
Kids® (Sg. Chua, Kajang) On Wednesday, 20
August 2003, Mr. Masahiro TEJIMA,
a Lecturer of the Faculty of Education, Bunkyo University, Japan (http://www.bunkyo.ac.jp/)
and his Project Leader, Mr. Ikeda HP, an associate professor of the
Department of Early Childhood Education, Yamanashi Women's Junior College,
Japan (http://www.yamanashi-ken.ac.jp/~youkyou/)
visited Smart
Reader Kids® (Sg. Chua, Kajang), Malaysia for the purpose of observing Smart Reader
Kids' established system for his research project. Mr Tejima and Mr Ikeda spent about 3 hours at Smart Reader Kids® (Sg. Chua, Kajang),
Malaysia observing the fun learning activities of the kids.
Mr. Tejima is a member of a research project titled "A
Comparative Study on Early Childhood Education in the Southeast Asian Countries",
a project funded by a grant-in-aid from the Ministry of Education Japan. This 2-year
project will send the scholars to 3 countries (Malaysia, Thailand and
Singapore) to gather the related information and data about the early childhood
education of three nations in Asia.
We at Smart
Reader Kids® (Sg. Chua, Kajang), Malaysia feel honored to be selected as one of the few pre-school
centers in Malaysia for that research visit and for their strong interest in our Smart
Reader Kids program.
